Has anyone heard any rumors of a release date from FOX on one of their biggest films from the
50s?? And its follow up "RETURN TO PEYTON PLACE?
I would think this would be one of their more popular
titles. Any information would be appreciated !!!!!

I've not read anything about it anywhere. If I had seen anything, I'd been on it like white on rice.

In a similar vein David, who owns the "Peyton Place" TV show rights. I seem to remember that this was a show that was hotter than hot in that it was shown several times a week. That was very unusual in its day.

The PEYTON PLACE tv series was also produced by Fox. I would assume they still hold the rights to it.

Think it will part of their classics line ?
Lana Turner at her best !!!!!
This film got lots of Oscar Noms,
its rival was "BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI",
Don't think "PEYTON PLACE" won any though ?
It was nominated for best picture, actress,
    supporting actor and actress.
It was one of the biggest films of the 50s,
and the first nightime soap opera.
GREAT FILM, GORGEOUS NEW ENGLAND SCENERY,
and a great STORY, very brave for it's time.
I NEED THIS ON DVD !!!!!!!!!
    HELP
