I just contacted MPI Video to see if there were any plans underway to bring out some more PJ episodes, taking us from the end of Season 1 and into Season 2. Unfortunately, they emailed me back to say there were no plans for additional volumes at this time.

Have the sales on this volume not done well, or are the other episodes tied up in some kind of copyright purgatory?

Does anyone know? I've been enjoying the first batch of episodes, and was hoping there would be more to come.

It's a rights issue. They don't have any legal right to release the episodes beyond the ones that they have already done.

Linda Henning (star of PJ and daughter of Paul Henning, the show's creator)has said that there are ongoing negotiations with Paramount to get the rights to release more episodes.
