This wonderful show comes on Cable every night on The N Network, a new network aimed at middle schoolers.

I taped most of the episodes off the N, but I would love a dvd release. With somewhere around 40 episodes, they could easily fit them all on one release.

There's an untapped goldmine just sitting in Nickelodeon's vaults. Though a few of their more popular current series are available, there's definitely a plethora of dvd-obsessed 20-somethings who would pay for some of these shows. Pete and Pete seems to be the one a lot of us remember most fondly and would be perfect for a release.

This show was and still is very entertaining. Where else can you get characters named Inspector 34 and Endless Mike?

And the guest appearances are amazing. Hunter S. Thompson, Bebe Neuwirth, Adam West, Steve Buscemi, to name just a few. And the regulars? Rick Gomez (Endless Mike) was Sgt. Luz in "Band of Brothers" and is the guy in all the VW ads. Michelle Trachtenberg (Nona) became Dawn Summers in "Buffy". And her dad was played by Iggy Pop!

Count me in for a DVD release. A really clever show that would surely turn a profit for Viacom if it were released.

Don't forget my two favorites: Sandwich Eater and Pit Stain.

Shit, how could I forget Pit Stain. I am ashamed.

Jeneane Garafolo alos guest starred in an episode, the one where Ellen was questioning all Algebra ("Y?")
She was a distraught teacher in that episode and Steve Buscemi was the principle/Ellens dad.
I also love the episode where older pete takes woodshop and has the one handed teacher.

This, classic Ren and Stimpy(the John K stuff only please) and Rockos Modern Life(It never got the attention it deserved in my opinion) and I will be happy.

Actually, it was "Open Face." One of my fav shows as well.

FYI: Toby Huss who plays Artie on P&P plays Kahn and Cotton on KING OF THE HILL.

Pete and Pete was an amazing show- like others ahve said, ripe for a DVD release. There have been a few "official" Pete&Pete VHS releases (they were orange tapes)-- but nothing yet for DVD.

    Fine, fine program.
