Has anyone heard if Sony will be offering an HD Satellite integrated PVR for DirectTV????

The Tivo/DirecTV integrated HD Satellite/digital OTA PVR will be released somewhere near March '04. Who will manufacture it hasn't been announced. Might be Sony but I imagine it's more likely to be branded Hughes, Philips, Samsung or RCA as those are the current DirecTivo manufacturers. Sony hasn't been making Tivos lately. They might be working on their own PVR without Tivo software.

Circuit City has the HDVR2 for $99. Here's a copy of a rebate for another $50 off.
