Bizarre and rather graphic movie that I kinda like. Paramount's still reaching backward for their new Blu-ray releases, and hopefully will continue bringing us the classics we've been begging them for for a decade. They're actually doing nearly as well as Warner Bros Archives as of late, in terms of quantity if not transfer quality.

Ben whishaw is excellent in this very strange, beautifully photographed, film.

Agreed - the film score is absolutely superb. Lovely, haunting choral passages. One of those soundtracks I immediately went out and purchased after seeing the film.
