Stock boost is at 30Hz I believe. Bad.

That big a box you'd want to tune lower. Change your mind about the EBS?

Hi Joel. Did you use the whole length of the tube for the Precision Port? You should have a lower tuning if you did. Around ~18 hz I believe.

I don't get the port until tomorrow. I'll try it with the whole port length...

Also, I saw some pictures of a DVC sub with wiring the 2nd voice coil in reverse (series?)...Do I need to wire the 2nd voice coil?

what do I enter as the "Series Resistance" in WinISD pro


here I took a screenshot... It says with only 150 W and 4 ohm it will be at its maximum excursion... or am i doing this wrong

The series resistance is NOT the resistance of the woofer. Its the resistance of the wire and terminals and connections along the way between the amp and the woofer.

WinISD Pro puts an initial value of 0.1 ohm and that's a pretty good guess. 4 ohms is nowhere close and its messing up your sims. With 140L, 17 inch (effective) port length (18.5Hz tune) and 0.1 ohms series my sim reaches Xmax with about 220 watts at the highest excursion point above tuning - about 28Hz.
