I bought a DVI cable for my HDTV to watch T2 HD on using windows media player, how do I get windows and my nvidia card to use the DVI cable and my TV? Do I have to unplug my monitor cable, I am using nview and I thought I can use both with that.

sup....

if your nvidia has dvi out....there should be a tab in the display properties/settings that will let you select wether you want to use the monitor output or the dvi output... after you select the dvi... the monitor may shut off and the image will be your hdtv....

Thanks Josh, I found it, except now I am worried, I am trying to display 1080p from the MS website and my HDTV and my PC monitor won't play the video from it, does this mean I cannot watch T2 also when I buy that DVD?

hmmm im not to sure but i dont beleave there are hdtv that support 1080p...only 1080i........ however when you buy that dvd... you will still be able to watch that with ether 480i/p 720i/p or 1080i.....
