I received the following on my home PC last night:

    "vsmon.exe - Bad Image
The application or DLL C:WINNTsystem32VSUTIL.dll is not a valid Windows Image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

It wouldn't boot with the Admin profile, but a temp one.

The only thing I can find on this is that it is related to ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm in some way.

    Windows 2000
    ZoneAlarm (free version)

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

vsmon is indeed apart of zonealarm. You've a couple of solutions available depending upon your skill level with a computer.

easy solution - reinstall zonealarm (if you can't access windows, go into safe mode)

difficult solution - open up regedit and remove all references to vsmon.exe and other zonealarm files.
