I hate to do it again, but I really haven't heard much in the way of Freaky Flyers or the new Splashdown game. I'm not much of a Ghost Recon person either, so no Game of the Week this time around. Sorry.
I'd say Silent Hill 3 is the big game this week. It looks to be just as messed up as the previous two games. :)

Fry's has Final Destination 2, The Animatrix, and Dark Blue for $14.99 all week. They are advertising "Low Price" on How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days, as well as having Agent Cody Banks and What A Girl Wants for only $13.99 on Tuesday ONLY. And then there's PS2 (only) NCAA Football 2004 at $49.95 with an instant gift rebate of 10 bucks and Silent Hill 3 with a $15 instant gift rebate.

Glen, How can Silent Hill 3 not be the game of the week? You didn't even mention it as a possibility. What the junk is going through your head?!

Anyone been able to successfully get BestBuy to pricematch and let you use the $5 gamers giftcard coupon? A PM to the $39.99 at CC and $5 more off would make Silent Hill 3 a pretty decent deal.

Also, I have a possible idea for this thread. It might be a good idea to cut some of the crappier games out of the price drop section. Something like Minority Report or Yanya Caballista is a ripoff unless you get PAID to take it home with you.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to add that EB dropped the price of ZOE2 to $29.99 new. They seem to be the only ones that have dropped it so far, and they have a habit of reversing their price drops sometimes, so get it now if you want it.

Ok... my bad. Silent Hill 3 should have been my game of the week.

I was pretty tired when I wrote this up. :)

Also, I have gotten pricematches and been able to use the gamer gift card in the past, but it really depends on the clerk. The last two times I've gotten the dept. manager and she wouldn't let me get both.

Can't hurt to try though.

Ok. I was going to add these to the list but I don't get the feeling that these will be dropped for that long.

All of these titles are $17.99 for the PS2 at EBgames.com and EB.

Test Drive Offroad: Wide Open
Smuggler's Run 2: Hostile Territory
Lethal Skies
MotoGP 2
SSX Tricky
Space Race
ATV: Quad Power Racing 2
Knockout Kings 2001
Mike Tyson Heavyweight Boxing
Kessen II
Fisherman's Bass Club
Fire Blade
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon
Army Men: Green Rogue
Pac-Man World 2
Pac-Man Fever
The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian
Zapper
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
Namco Museum
RLH: Run Like Hell
Bloody Roar 3
Herdy Gerdy
Tom and Jerry: War of the Whiskers
Blade II
NASCAR Heat 2002
Supercar Street Challenge
Le Mans 24 Hours

I'll add them to the list if they stay at this price for more than a day or so.

i must voice my disagreement with what James wrote...have you even played Minority Report??

granted it's not a great game, but it IS good and was well worth the $10 i paid for it. The rag doll physics engine makes beating up baddies and throwing them around so much fun that it offers more entertainment than many $50 games.

and to me one of the major points of listing the CHEAP games (like the ones between $5-$20) is so that we know which ones we might think of picking up just for the hell of it. At $50 there's no way I would have considered Minority Report (having read that it was only slightly above average), but I'm glad that peeps on this thread gave me the heads up on the $10 price tag. I mean c'mon- eat a sandwich one night instead of ordering a pizza and you save yourself at least $10 (enough to buy a cheap game that could be well worth it! and if not then all you lost was a pizza).

Sam's Club now has various Gamecube games, previously approx. $20 there, for $12.83, including:

Need for Speed 2
Knockout Kings 2003
Tiger Woods 2003
Tube Slider
Driven

Plus some others I can't remember.

Hmm... I might have to run and pick up Tube Slider if I can find it. I've heard it was a decent racer... just not a great one.

I found Zoocube there for $12.83 a few weeks back.
