Sorry for the Delay everyone. This is a pretty slow week again, but heeeeeereee we go.

Ok. Purchase NCAA Football 2004 and any other PS2 products and get a gift card instantly. The trick is that you have to spend $99.99 to get a $10 gift card, $199.99 to get a $20 gift card, or $299.99 to get a $40 gift card. That's a lot of PS2 gaming.

Have a great week everyone!

Damn... Where's an admin when you need one? :)

I'm still hoping to get the thread going soon here. Ugh.

No new release titles for me this week. Instead I will be buying a bland new XBox with Halo or something (already have six games).

Dang EA Sports! They never put their new stuff on sale! :D

Oh well, I'll just buy NCAA 2004 after I get my free rewards card from Best Buy, that way I'll get 5000 points for the purchase at least.

Oh yeah, and I'll have to photoshop a new cover to get rid of Carson Palmer... ;)

By the way, DDD is now selling EA Games, and if offering NCAA for $46. Here. They also have free shipping, though for me (in Texas) it takes a long time. Others have said it's not that bad, but if you're willing to wait to purchase it, it's not that big of a deal either way.

Thanks Ike. Well I think I'd rather get the bonus points from Best Buy since I purchase from there a lot and the rewards will come quicker ($5 coupons).

I'm just hoping that, since I have to wait a week (don't have time to play it this week or weekend) to purchase that maybe next week's circulars will have it on sale. I've seen where a week or two after release the title goes on sale (I think it happened to Madden 2002 or 2003, two weeks after release Best Buy had it for $39.99 one week only).

Larry, yes they do.

Man, there are more than a few PS2 titles at $4.99 there. I'll get the list updated soon.

Wow. Lots of $4.99 titles. Rygar, NFL2k3, NCAA2k3, James Bond Nightfire, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Yanya Kabilista

A few new $9.99 Xbox titles as well. Burnout and James Bond Nightfire.

A good start to the week. Do you not agree?

I work at EB games. Today we got an e-mail about the summer clearence sale that's about to start. Expect some more price drops in the following days. It looked like today was just PS2 and PC. I'm sure X-Box and GC will follow.

$4.99 for Nightfire? A STEAL if you ask me.

Well, I walked into the EB that told me that they didn't have Rygar in stock, walked to the shelf and saw the box for it right there. :)

So, I picked up Harry Potter and Rygar for $10. I'm pretty happy with that purchase. :)

Ebgames.com doesn't have Rygar anymore for $4.99, guess there sold out? Damn I was going to pick that game up too, guess everyone picked it up.

I think the EB Games sale may be over, and might have been a mistake in the first place. I went to my EB and found a copy of Rygar marked $24.99. I asked if they were honoring the internet prices and they said they had been yesterday but had been contacted by their headquarters not to continue selling those titles at those prices. They were sold out of the 007 Nightfire game. I don't see those games or prices on the website any longer either.

On the other hand, my EB sometimes has different higher prices from what Glen posts here, so it never hurts to check your local store.

Question:

When you guys post these great prices at EB Games, are they for USED copies?

I went in to a local store and asked for Nightfire. The clerk told me he had one left and pulled the box off the shelf and brought the disk out from under the counter. I assumed it was simply the new disk taken from the display box. When I got home, I found that the disc was used "quite heavily". I'm worried about what will happen if I don't get around to finishing it right away and it hangs up toward later levels months from now.

Thanks!

I've always been getting the games brand new from EB. Half of the time the sales guy is laughing because the new games are $10 to $20 less than the Used ones during these price drops.

Oh, one other thing. I'm going to be out of town next week.

Could anyone post the ad prices into next weeks thread? I'll create the thread on Friday with the games that are coming out, if someone just wants to post the ad stuff.

Let me know either in here or via PM.

Thanks,

Glen
