I don't know how long the sale lasts, but Xenosaga (PS2) was on sale for $19.99 new (cheaper than their used price) at Gamestop last week. Interested parties might want to check it out.

BestBuy in Pittsfield, MA had a whole stack of the Star Wars Rogue Leader II priced at $19.99, clearanced for 50 % off. Picked it up for my kids (9 & 7 year old) for $9.99. They seem to love it and I don't understand the T rating as the game seems very mild, just blowing stuff up that I've seen.

Glen thanks for all the hard work! I'll be picking up Tomb Raider AOD, and possibly MM3. Thanks again.

Gee I'd like to pick up Rogue Leader in case I ever Buy a Cube. I'm contemplating SOF and Midtown Madness. I might give them a rent first.

Bah Humbug, bring on the Advance Wars 2 already!

Thanks again Glen. If you don't have Advance Wars 2 as the game of the week next time and a place I can get it cheap, I might have to commit seppuku. Or I could just check the papers and buy it myself (nah, I'll stick with seppuku.)

Cheers!

I'm taking a wait and see approach on SOF II and MM3(will need to decide between this and Midnight Club II). I'll probably pick these up sometime this week:

Deathrow - $14.99 at EB
Dead to Rights - $19.99 at EB
Blood Omen 2 - $14.99 at EB

Perhaps a few more since the dvd releases are so dead this week.

Thanks for the great weekly list Glen.:emoji_thumbsup:

was at Target last night and saw Crash Bandicoot for the Cube on an endcap for $12.99. They had a bunch of copies at that price...

Take this with a grain a salt...I read over at the the ign forums that a couple of people picked up shinobi and Contra (PS2)for $15 each at Target. They were on clearance. It is was also noted to have the Target worker scan the game because some Target stores may have the wrong price. Can anyone verify this? I just may have to take a ride to Target tonight. Contra for $15 is a definate purchase.

I wonder what happened with the forum.

It lost all of my post changes for yesterday.

Hmmm....

Glen, I noticed some weird goings-on with the forum this morning as well. New posts dropped, empty threads, etc.

Larry, I find Target to be one of the best places to pick up great deals. Since there's limited shelf space for games, turnover to make room for new titles is pretty quick. But, the employees are often clueless about their own prices, and I frequently see that they haven't changed the price stickers or that games have the wrong title and price underneath. In the Greatest Hits section they often have other unpriced titles that you should always ask to be scanned. I picked up MLB Slugfest 2003 and Sega Soccer Slam (Xbox) for $10.

I asked this earlier, but it got erased, is this game any godd for 7-9 year-olds that like starwars type games. I don't mind some violence as long as it's not bloody or gory. Thanks for the tip.

I've debated picking up Slugfest for that price. I just don't know if I need another game... just to have it sit on the shelf. Ok, if I don't pick up that one... I'll pick up something else. :)

Last I heard, Tomb Raider was pushed off until early next month. I don't have a firm date at the moment though.

Looks like Rayman has hit $19.99 at CC as well. I'll be picking up the GC version, possibly the GBA one as well. Just not sure when...
