Possibly next week. That seems to be about the standard for PC games. Possibly two weeks for CompUSA.

Picked up 2 Gamecube games on clearance at Target tonight: NHL 2003 and Pac-Man Fever, each marked down to $14.98. Also saw 2 Xbox games for the same price: Reign of Fire, and Robotech Battlecry. Of course, YMMV from Target to Target on both price and selection.

P.S. -- The SamGoody promos, for (1) extra 10% off, and (2) $5 off $30 with the 849 code, are over. You can still get free shipping on 2 or more items, but not nearly as hot a deal now.

Got NBA 2K3 for Gamecube at a local EBGames for 14.99. NFL 2K3 is the same price.

Wow. Looks like I might be hitting Target tomorrow. Timesplitters 2 and Pac Man Fever have been on my list for a while.

Thanks John. Your Gamecube price updates have kept me in games for a while. [IMG]

You are welcome, Glenn! I am, however, trying to spend a little more time researching compulsive shopping on the internet, vs. actually engaging in such shopping, because I'm convinced I have a problem: 74 Gamecube games in 77 days. Yikes. In addition, that same period of time is included in a larger period of 432 days during which I have obtained 424 dvd titles. Good grief.

It's funny that you mention that. I've added so many games to my collection lately, that there really couldn't be enough time to play them. The funny thing is, my wife looks at the Target ad and says, "Oh, are there any games you want there?" Gotta love a woman like that. [IMG]

Well, I picked up Timesplitters 2 for the Xbox last night.

Also, I noticed that Onimusha 2 was down to $19.88 at my Target after a price drop.

Also, Everquest for the PS2 was down to $40 as well.

There were a few other drops, but I think we've mentioned them before.

This may be a little late
Media Play has a 2 for $18(or 9.99 each) PC game sale with these titles:

    Sim City 3000
    Sub Command
    Black & White
    Commanche 4
    American Mcgee's Alice
    Freedom Force
    NHL 2002
    NBA Live 2001
    Need for Speed
    Sim Coaster
    Madden 2002
    C&C Red Alert 2
    C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge

It says choose from 25 titles so I'm not sure what the others are if anyone knows please feel free to comment.

I know I'll be picking up C&C(both) Freedom Force and Alice. All for $36. Not bad.

Also at Target, they have Gungrave for $15.00 even, it's a heck of a deal considering that the price hasn't really dropped and most places are still asking $40-$50.

I also picked up Onimusha 2, I think I'll leave it sealed for a rainy day when I'm in the mood for that "new game smell".
