This is a pretty short ad week for PC and Video games, so let's get to it. It seems as though most of the stores are not discounting games all that much as well, but we'll pound through it.
I may not be able to get a post Xmas day wrapup in, but I'll give it a shot.
    Let's go...
GLEN'S HTF GAME OF THE WEEK
None this week. Only two games being released, so it's pretty hard to have a Game of the week. Here they are.

    Dragon's Lair 3D (GC) - $49.99

    Morowind: Tribunal - $24.99
The Sims: Deluxe Edition - $39.99
    Bundles
    - Purchase a Nintendo Gamecube and get Tony Hawk 3 included.
    CompUSA
    PC Games
    The Thing - $24.99

So is $49.99 the best price I'll find for Dragon's Lair 3D (GC)? What day will that be in stores, anyway? Think there's a good chance of an after-Christmas sale on that one?

It's possible David. But, I wouldn't bank on it. The release date for it according to EBGames is the 23rd.

HIGHLY recommend you check out the reviews on Dragon's Lair 3D before buying.

    David:
I just checked, and the GC version didn't have any reviews that I could find. However, the XBOX version did and they aren't that great.

Well, I got the Sonic Mega Collection as an early Xmas present. It's good to be a grown up kid. [IMG]

Damn, what a crappy week. In fact, other than the amazon 2 for 1 deal on PS2 games, I've been VERY dissapointed with the quality of deals everyone has been offering. It seems like they've been catering to people who don't have systems yet by offering a lot of bundles, but the early adopters are left out in the cold when it comes to software discounts.

PS- Thanks for posting this every week Glen, I don't get Compusa or Circuit City ads so it's a big help.

I'm almost certain that there will be something for software deals post Xmas. People who just got a console always want to pick up a few games, so you'll usually see something out there.
No problem James. I enjoy doing the weekly thing. I'm just glad people enjoy it.
I hope we can generate the same kind of interest that the weekly DVD thread does. I'm sure it will in time. [IMG]
