Probably get Lunar Legends for Christmas (along with Phantasy Star 1-3) and get Link to the Past at Target. What is the price for PS1-3 anyways?

I'm glad I haven't purchased Metroid Prime yet,I'll get it for $39.99. Sonic Mega Collection looks good at $34.99 , is it any good? I was hoping for some better Xbox(software) deals before Christmas but this week won't help there

I'm really debating picking up the Sonic collection for $35. The reviews for it have been pretty good, and when I played it I really enjoyed it.

The Phantasy Star Collection is $29.99 MSRP. Should be that price everywhere.

Ok. Here's are two great deals that Nintendo is rolling out this week. They only runs until the 14th.
    Nintendo Coupons
Buy a Gamecube, get $25 back by rebate.
Buy any of these Gamecube games, and get $5 back/per title via mail in rebate.
    007 Nightfire
    Beach Spikers
    Capcom Vs. SNK 2
    Die Hard Vendetta
    Eternal Darkness
    Evolution Worlds
    Godzilla: DAMM
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
    Madden 2003
    Metroid Prime
    Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2
    Resident Evil
    Resident Evil 0
    Sonic Mega Collection
    Star Fox Adventures
    Star Wars Bounty Hunter
    Star Wars Jedi Outcast
    Super Mario Sunshine
    Super Monkey Ball 2
    Super Smash Brothers Melee
    SwingerZ Golf
    TimeSplitters 2
    Tony Hawk 4
    Virtua Striker 2002
    WWE Wrestlemania X8
    Wavebird Controller
You can buy up to 5 of these titles and get rebates on each.
So, you can save up to $25 on all of these titles.
    Best deals that I see.
You can go to CC, buy a Gamecube with Metroid Prime, get a Wavebird for free, then turn around and get rebates, on the Nintendo, the Wavebird, and Metroid Prime. Getting all three for possibly $165 after rebates. Even if you didn't get the Wavebird Rebate, you'd get it for $165.
Also, the Mario Sunshine bundle is included, so you could get a Mario Sunshine bundle, Metroid Prime and a Wavebird for $210 after rebates.
Metroid Prime for $35 after rebate at Compusa
Sonic Mega Collection for $30 after rebate at Target
There are also some games that have been market down to $30 such as Beach Spikers and Resident Evil, so you could get some great deals here.

I was planning on holding off on any new games, but $20 for Zelda and Yoshi's Island is too good to pass up. I just wish I was getting something better than the original mario brothers (for the third time) as a bonus game.

Still need to get Metroid Fusion, but thinking of waiting until I get my GBA adapter for the Gamecube in March.

Anyone know if the Nintendo Rebate on software works for games that have already been bought? Or is there a window on this?

I'm debating trying to get EB to post sale price match Zelda. $6 bucks is $6 bucks.

I really like the twekaed format, I get to see what the new releases are and then jump down to the end of the list to find the really good deals!

Glen, if I'm not mistaken, you are a fellow Madisonian. Have you managed to track down any local shops who stretch release dates on DVDs and such? Please PM me if you have!

    Keep up the good work.

Here is the best deal going on the Gamecube. Credit for this goes to the good people at Fat Wallet. Goes something like this. Purchase the cube, game, and wavebird online at circuit city using your msn wallet. Prices are as follows using Metroid Prime in this example:

    Cube - 150
    Game - 50
    Wavebird - 35
    Total - 235

After purchase call customer service and have them make the following price matches. YMMV of course!!!

Cube - Match to FAO Schwartz at 120
Metroid Prime - Match to Comp USA at 40
Wavebird - Match to KB Toys at 30

    Total Savings - 30 + 10 + 5 = 45

    New Total 235 - 45 = 190

Next you would get your 20% back from MSN in February which would = 38

    So 190 - 38 = 152

On top of this you can qualify for the Nintendo rebates of 25 for the Cube and 10 for the wavebird and game. Also, Circuit city has a 35 dollar rebate for the wavebird when purchased with a game and system. So you essentially get it for free.

    Total rebates = 70

    Final Total = 152 - 70 = 82

Or 120 with 38 free in February.

This of course does not include any applicable taxes or postage or shipping. Sorry for the length but I wanted to explain it in as much detail as possible to avoid any needless questions. Hope you all enjoy.

Just so y'all know, an item that was $25.88 last week at Target but is $19 this week, I was able to take JUST the receipt to the store today and get them to credit me the $6.88 difference.
Perhaps it helped that I was also buying $60 worth of other stuff at the same time. [IMG] But this was described to me in a hassle-free way before I grabbed the other stuff. So anyone else who fell into this trap with a title beginning with a "Z", go get your credit. YMMV!
