I'm trying to decide between the two. I think the PB2-ISD is relatively new. It's about $75 more expensive and more expensive to ship ($99). My room is about 25'x17.5'x10'. Any recommendations?

    Thanks.

I asked Tom V the same question not too long ago. Based on what he said to me, definately go with the PB2-ISD. Let me quote what he told me.

PB1-ISD vs 22-31PCi? Are they basically the same or is one a little better?

So I guess the only benefit of the 20-39 PC+ is it's size and weight? I suppose it does speak highly of the capability of the + series driver if it is that close to the performance level of a dual driver box.

Aside from raw output, does the PC+ "Sound" any better due to the higher quality woofer?

I recently went through this decision process. I ended up with the 2039 PC+.

Here was my reasoning. Space was at a premium. The PB2 would fit, but had fewer placement options. Also, I'm not in a permanent living situation (apartment) so I wanted something fairly easily moved if need be. And one more thing, not that I was too worried about it, but in the event that I wanted to return the unit, the shipping was much less. I felt this took more of the 'risk' out of buying a product I had no personal experience with.

    My $.02
