Payback director's cut? (1 Viewer)

I was just meandering around the web and I read a review of a director's cut of Payback on a site dedicated to Richard Stark's Parker character (http://www.violentworldofparker.com/...ckbootleg.htm). The same site has an item citing a Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payback) that this director's cut is being prepped for a dvd release.

Anyone know if there's any truth to this? Seems like a long shot but I'd be very curious about this if it were to be released.

I would also love to see the Dr cut of this film.

At one point, Helgeland said the only way Paramount would let him do it if was he became the biggest director in the world....

The Wiki article also leaves out that Mel Gibson dictated most of the changes.
