Well, Paul Verhoeven is always linked to about a dozen features at the same time, so I'll have to see how this works out. Anyway, he's working on a Dutch movie right now, so we still have to wait for that one.

Paul Verhoeven doing a sequel to a remake? Seems a bit out of character. Then again, enough crappy sequels have been made to Verhoeven's movies that maybe he figures it's payback time.

Not only that, Paul Verhoeven is doing a sequel, which is in itself a remake of a film that is unrelated to the '99 remake or to the film that it was a remake of.
