I'm so glad we have the SE Karate Kid DVD with his great commentary to listen to:)

As much as I adore Miyagi, I will always love the scene in the bar in Spy Hard before the Pulp Fiction parody where Pat did his "Brian the Waiter" bit! Now that was truly hilarious. Also, he did a great job on Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, bringing some great comedy to the somewhat serious series.

He definately brought a sense of realism into his work, whatever it was. Thanks to his work in the Karate Kid, I began my love of the martial arts very early in life. :) He will be known as a cornerstone in one of the most important films of the 80's...

Thank you for all the great memories Mr. Morita. You are forever remembered as one of the quitesential characters of 80's cinema.
