Passive subs and SVS? (1 Viewer)

Just curious if anyone was buying passives subs anymore till SVS came along?

I never really heard TOO much about them. And the more I learned about it...the more that suprised me.
Going from a powered woof to a passive+amp+XO/EQ box is like going from a
receiver to seperates.
Of course, there's always good and bad examples of each...but GENERALLY...you can really push the performance envelope with *seperates*.
