I saw this out at MediaPlay earlier today--surprised since it isnt supposed to be released until 11/8.On MediaPlay`s website it even says its not available until 11/8 and to reserve a copy. Isnt their fines imposed when you release something that has a protected street date??

This just sounds like someone screwed up at the store or didn't read the release date label (if there was one).

The repurcussions of early release depend on the studio and probably how frequent it happens. There is nothing illegal about releasing a CD or DVD early, and usually what happens with repeat offenders is that the distributor makes sure the store doesn't have stock prior to release date, which for retaillers is a PITA.

I'll have a review of this set up early next week. So far so good.

No, all they have for special features is the "jump to a song" feature.

Did you see the Best Buy Ad in today's paper? It had this set listed for $16.99

I think it's a misprint. Did anyone else encounter this? Maybe it really is $16.99...

My Best Buy store was sold out, so I drove to nearby Circuit City. They had one left on the shelf. I showed them Best Buy's ad and they matched their price plus took an addittional 10% off. Total: $16.19. That's a great price--and I could use the break! It seems like every Tuesday, there's a new dvd release I want!
