Can two pairs of channels on this amplifier be bridged? If so, how much power will the bridged channels produce? Thanks.

I own one right now, but I'm thinking about getting another to biamp everything. They're a steal with how cheap they go on ebay. Anyways, I've emailed Parasound a while ago about bridging that amp and they said not to do it.

Anyone know of a good place to purchase this amp? I have heard about them selling in the $300 range, but cannot find them anywhere in this range!

They used to sell at ubid.com around the mid $300's but they haven't been selling them for a while.

I have this one from ubid. I am sure it can NOT be bridged.

My unit has a humming. Is there any way I can use to reduce the humming?

Tom, I also have an 855 that was humming...drove me nuts for awhile..finally decided to investigate it..I went to Radio Shack and bought a bunch of split flex cable and stuff. I divided up all my video cable in one piece of tubing, audio in another and cleaned up the routing of all the AC lines in the back. This cleaned up the majority of the humming. Hope this helps..Mike

My Parasound and Samson amplifier both hummed in my system, I was advised to try a 3 prong to 2 prong AC adapter. It completely eliminated the hum and cost about $2 at Radio Shack. It's the same thing as this:
