Parasound HCA-1500A 2-ch amp should I buy? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I want to start working on seperates. I currently have the Yamaha 2095, Paradigm speakers. Not sure how to utilize the 2ch amp with my yamaha 5.1 set up. I see some good prices on the HCA-1500a!! Any ideas would be appreciated.

This is an excellent amplifier. Get this and use it for your mains, then buy either 3 ch. amplifier or a 5 ch.(for ex) amplifier.

I have a Parasound HCA-1500A running my mains, a pair of Paradigm Studio 80s. I haven't even come close to maxing out the power on this 205Wpc amp, and it sounds terrific. It brings out all the subtleties and explosiveness of movie soundtracks and music. I got mine used for $500 shipped, and you should have no trouble finding a similar price on eBay or Audiogon.
