Because Abrams wasn't an active producer past the first season.
Sorry for being the "actually..." guy but Abrams wasn't even involved for all of the first year. He was only actively involved in the pilot episode(s) and the first six and then he left to do Mission: Impossible III and basically never looked back (save for directing the S3 opener).

Don't know why anyone needs/wants to bring in Lindelof/Lost at all (to throw him under the same bus or something) over relatively obscure/minor criticisms largely from some minority fanbase (vs the more mainstream overall fanbase), which is completely different from Kinberg's track record. Not like you're actually hating on Lindelof at all afterall, LOL. Kinberg (and Paramount's awful leadership, repeated mismanagement and oft terrible choices leading toward that announcement for that matter) almost certainly doesn't deserve this defense, LOL!
