Paramount, TNN is ruining my enjoyment of TNG! PLEASE HELP!!! (1 Viewer)

I tried, I really tried to enjoy TNG on TNN these last few days but I just cant. First for some weird reason TNN comes in unclear, bits of static all through the show while every other cable channel is crystal clear.
Second that blasted black bar at the bottom that is layered over the actual picture of the show with their TNN logo on the right and ST:TNG 5 Day Mission Marathon all the way thru it. I really hate this on everything they show but TNN is REALLY making me want to purchase TNG on DVD more than ever. Please hurry and save my sanity!!!

I think we'll see it by Q2 next year. But, I have to disagree about the quality. Sure, the bar and the bugs at the bottom are terrible, but I just got through watching months and months of TNG reruns on my local UPN, and the TNN quality blows it away. So much so, that I have to wonder if they're using the remastered episodes Paramount is producing for the DVDs. Then again, I doubt that. I'm sure Paramount won't be remastering the later episodes until closer to their respective box's release date.
