I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants this. So, Paramount, you released a VHS tape last year, but how about a DVD? No extras requested, although something like what Artificial Eye has done for the Three Colours trilogy in R2 would be appreciated, or an Irène Jacob commentary, just this great film in its OAR (1.66:1).

Paramount will not be handling this title much longer. THE DOUBLE LIFE OF VERONIQUE was part of a package that they licensed from Miramax, and that package is about to expire. The flood of under-$10 videotapes of those Miramax titles that came out last year was basically Paramount taking advantage of their last opportunity to make money off them.
Hmmm...maybe this is why Miramax is taking so long on getting the Three Colors trilogy on DVD. It would be fortuitous to issue those alongside VERONIQUE when they are able to release the movie themselves.
