When can we expect these on dvd? The first movie came out 6 years ago and the sequel 1 year later. Don't you think it's been quite a long wait? Anyhow, I want to see every deleted scene from both movies and some of them should be put back in the movie (like mr. ditmeyer and the toilet incident, etc.).

The Brady Bunch movies are very funny. I would buy both to add to my collection. Any additional special features would be more than welcome.

Thanks for the info Martin.
It would be nice to see deleted scenes. I think they had cameos with all the original Bradys, but only included a few in the actual movie.

They're coming sooner rather than later
Martin...Are you referring just to the Brady films...or perhaps Grease as well!

I just hope that there isn't any political concerns when reviewing these titles. I mean after all there is a lot in all three films that could simply be confusing or offending to the general audiance. Yes....this is sarcasm.

Hopefully The Brady Bunch Movie will include all the deleted scenes that were edited out prior to the film's theatrical release.

If they're coming, I hope something doesn't suddenly come up!

And what was the deal with that cropped TV shot on the laserdisc (it did NOT look like that in the theaters!)

, 1492: Conquest Of Paradise, Hud, Major League, Pretty In Pink, Some Kind Of Wonderful, and Altman's Popeye. And some "not planned at this time" titles include the Grease and Saturday Night Fever films ("we wish" was the interesting response), as well as Urban Cowboy, Regarding Henry, Fire In the Sky, and SE reissues of Mission Impossible, Planes Trains And Automobiles, and Face/Off.

The first Brady Bunch movie had scenes added in for the television broadcast. I'd love to see those on DVD as they were comedic! I will add both movies to my collection when they are released.

As for the bad rap about the characters--hey, I've seen space operas that put their emphasis on human personalities and relationships. They're called "Star Trek" movies. Give me transparent underwater cities and vast hollow senatorial spheres any day. --Roger Ebert on The Phantom Menace

Martin has the inside scoop, but it doesn't jive with what's being reported from Studio Day (I don't think 2003 is sooner rather than later). Either dvdfile has it wrong, or things have changed in the last month.
Martin, care to clarify? :)

Yes, they have moved back. At the time I wrote it it was correct. Incidentally, looking at what dvdfile has printed, it's substantially correct.

Martin,
Bummer, but thanks for the clarification. Hopefully, the extra wait will be worth it (deleted scenes, etc.) :)

A great special edition item would be inclusion of referenced episodes. Since this would be costly, I think it would be a more expensive alternate release.
Of course this wouldn't be necessary if Brady Bunch were released on DVD for television. I wouldn't suggest that I'd buy them though (the series). Not I anyway.

I'm bummed that the Brady Bunch episodes have been out on VHS for a while (in "Quality Extended Play Mode") yet were never on laserdisc and still no sign of DVD. I'd buy all of these in an instant! I have the Brady Bunch Variety Hour DVD from Rhino, which is great stuff but has a ton of digital artifacting.
