well...apart from a few titles here and there, it seems like 90% of these have already been released in R1.

i would love to see Come Back Little Sheba and Country Girl get a release here as well.

things like Day Of The Locust have already been leaked as being on the schedule, iirc.

You ungrateful swine, Paul !! [IMG]

Personally, I'm quite excited to see dates for THE UNTOUCHABLES S.E, EVENT HORIZON S.E and STAR TREK : TOS.
I know they've all been rumoured - but a rumour is not a date !

No nothing much there. Looks like I've got all the Paramount owned films I want if thats all they can offer. The only thing I even have a mild interest in are the original Star Trek series boxsets. I mean loads of this stuff is just reissues/ repackagings of material already out there. Even if these are new transfers I don't think any of these films IMO merit an upgrade. The Godfathers look OK to me and probably are pretty close to how they should look. Looking at this line-up it really does make me wonder when Paramount are going to release some of the silent films it owns ?

I buy over 100 dvds a year and only a few of these Paramount releases are buys for me.

I've a feeling most of my money this year is going to Warner Bros - thats as long as they actually release more from their classic catalogue.

I wonder if they will ever bring out the Martin & Lewis films. M&L were the A&C of the fifties. MY FRIEND IRMA (their debut film), SCARED STIFF, JUMPING JACKS, THE STOOGE, THE CADDY, HOLLOWOOD OR BUST, ARTISTS AND MODELS and PARDNERS are available on video tape, but SAILOR BEWARE. LIVING IT UP, YOU'RE NEVER TOO YOUNG (three of their best), MY FRIEND IRMA GOES WEST, MONEY FROM HOME, THAT'S MY BOY. A pd of AT WAR WITH THE ARMY is available on videotape.

Not much there, that hasn't already been released in Region 1, then...Racing With the Moon. This is great news.

I'm multi-region capable, but just what are the chances of a Region 1 release for this one? I've mentioned this title many times to Mr. Blythe and he's never indicated that it is on the way.
