Lady in a Cage! I remember watching it on a local UHF station as a kid and being fascinated and disturbed by it. As I recall, it's rather trashy and sleazy. Naturally, I can't wait for it to be released.
If it does well, maybe Paramount will release another early James Caan film, Red Line 7000, directed by the legendary Howard Hawks.
Great news! One of my most wanted films on DVD is finally coming. A childhood favorite of mine, the ending to this film was pretty shocking for its time.
As always, Paramount is really doing a great job in getting its catalog titles out on DVD.
I'm definitely getting "Star Trek: First Contact". That's a no-brainer. Mind you, I've still yet to pick up "Generations".
I'll also be getting "The Spongebob Squarepants Movie". I really enjoyed it when I saw it in the theatre. I also saw "Team America" and didn't like it much at all. The only thing I really laughed at was the simulated sex scene. lol.
The ST: First Contact SE is one I'm looking forward to in '05. It's the only Star Trek film I don't have in my collection at this time; I've got the other nine (the first seven in 2-disc format, with Insurrection and Nemesis in single-disc format).
Speaking of ST: Insurrection, I wonder if there's going to be a 2-disc SE of this film down the road in '05. At the ratio of two per year that Paramount has been good at in getting them issued on DVD, that would mean we could expect an Insurrection SCE in the second half of '05. I for one would like to see it happen.
