Paramount: Family Ties; an idea (1 Viewer)

Mr. Blythe,
I would like to see complete season-by-season sets of "Family Ties" on DVD. But that's not all.
I have an idea. You could make these DVDs exclusively available from the website michaeljfox.com which raises money for Parkinson's disease research. People will go here to buy them, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the foundation.

Although I would support the idea of releasing Family Ties on DVD, I doubt Paramount would go for the idea of making it an exclusive for MichaelJFox.com. An added fee would be more likely, though I haven't seen it done. Providing season boxed sets exclusively through one web outlet would further limit the audience of an already niche DVD set.

Not a bad idea, but unfortunately it was brought up before in regards to the Back to the Future trilogy and we can see how far that went.
