:star: I think this film should get a SE treatment sometime in the near future. And it really must have a Frankenheimer commentary! This man does the BEST commentaries that I've listened to. So please, please consider this film. Thank you for your kind attention!:D

I'm with fellow Toledoan Jeff on this issue. I've got the chapter-free and rather faded LD and would love to have a nice anamorphic DVD with a commentary. I've read the Charles Champlin book of interviews with Frankenheimer and he has a ton of stories about this film-- including just how hellish it was to film the climactic scenes with the blimp.

Robert Evans seems to be a sport with titles like Marathon Man and would be a great addition to this disc. This is one of the few Paramount catalog titles that I'm surprised isn't out yet. Great movie!

Thanks for your support Mark! Considering the 30+ million dollars that "The Sum of All Fears" racked in this past weekend, it doesn't appear that the viewing public would object to the terrorist based theme of "Black Sunday".

Didn't this title place rather high on the Paramount poll? I'm almost certain I voted for it. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the title has appeared on the Paramount radar. (The sooner the better though :D )

I guess only Mr. Blythe would know for sure. In the mean time I'll keep my LD!

Count me in; I've only ever seen this movie in P&S and so obviously would love to see it in its OAR.
