We are looking at revisiting some Peanuts titles for next year. No decision on which titles though.

Keep in mind that Paramount now also has the rights to the Fox Titles as well.

They have all four of the Peanut's big screen adventures in their vaults and they will be a sure pre-order when the announcements are made. I do hope that when they arrive they are in the proper OAR though since the current VHS versions and television versions, seem to be missing some info at the sides of the film.

(Paramount keep this in mind as well...on the Fortune 500 list of the highest paid DEAD celebrities...Charles Schulz was number 2...his estate earning 28 MILLION in the past year. The would make a lot of money for you as well to get these titles out and done properly.)

And Martin, you said in your response that you all were talking of 'revisiting' the Peanut's titles. Can you please clarify on this. Revisiting can mean that you are simply going to reissue the ones that you already have out (which is only four titles on DVD) or the series as whole, meaning the titles that you haven't released yet. Which one would it be

What I'd like to see is themed compilations of the TV specials to include as many pre-1977 specials (those with the Vince Guaraldi music) as possible. How about something along these lines:
    Charlie Brown at Sports:
    Charlie Brown's All-Stars
You're a Good Sport, Charlie Brown
    You're the Greatest, Charlie Brown
    Charlie Brown in Love:
    You're in Love, Charlie Brown
There's No Time For Love, Charlie Brown
    Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown
    Charlie Brown on Holiday:
It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown
    It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown
It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown
    Charlie Brown and Friends:
    He's Your Dog, Charlie Brown
    It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown
    Play it Again, Charlie Brown

Add my vote in for the Peanuts movies and specials on DVD. They are a very cherished part of my fiance's and my youth and I would buy them all in a heartbeat.

I was just thinking about these actually. Bon Voyage was on TV here a couple weeks ago and it held up quite well given that the last time I watched it was when I was seven. I'd love to see both this and Race for Your Life on DVD.

    Paramount,

What I would love to see is all of the Charlie Brown/Peanuts movies & specials avaliable on DVD. Maybe you could even bring out a collection that contains all of the Charlie Brown/Peanuts movies & all of the Charlie Brown/Peanuts specials (I would pay any price just to have all of movies/specials from Charlie Brown/Peanuts)

Well Paramount has all of them now in their library. Only time will tell to see what we get. I do hope that when we do get this titles, that they are featured in their OAR. On television, and current VHS release for at least the movies in the series, there does appear to be information lacking on the sides.

I too would buy a complete set of all of them...PLUS...the Charlie Brown and Snoopy show from CBS in the early 80's. In this time of crying out for clean children's entertainment, nothing says clean the same way that Peanuts do.
