How do I connect PE's 250w plate amp to a Shiva driver in parallel (to use the 4ohm capabilities of both) ?
The Shiva driver has got +/- connectors at two sides, if I understand the term "parallel wiring" correctly, then I need to connect to each +/- connector, +/- wires from the amp, which mean that I need 4 wires from the amp. Since I only have 2 wires from the amp, does it mean I need to divide the 2 wires into 4 at the plate amp's base ?
I'm not sure the warranty will be valid after this...

Have you noticed that the Shiva terminals have 2 sets of +' and -'s on EACH voice coil connection? Simply connect the amp + and - leads to the 1st voice coil's + and - terminals,. Then from the same voice coil, use the other set of + and - terminals and connect it to the 2nd voice coil's + and - terminals.

    I was just kidding.
Anyway, I have another question about polyfill.
My sub's internal space is divided to 4 chambers
by the bracing boards. Is it true that it is not recommended to put the polyfill in the two chambers right next to the driver ?
    and one last thing,
let's say that a certain sub needs 50 ounces of polyfill in order to be 100% stuffed. Does it makes a difference if the polyfill is compressed into one chamber or if it is evenly distributed through all the chambers ?
