I am looking strictly for stereo speakers for music and parties. I am trying stay in the $500+/- range. So far I have:

    Athena SF-1 $375
Klipsch RF-25 $660 Kind of expensive
Paradigm Legend $ 520 (demo unit)

I think I am leaning towards the Paradigm legends

    Any experiece? opinions?

i bought my first sub and its the paradigm ps-1000. people say its too boomy but i find it nice you just have to play with the adjustments. i also heard that you can hear humming from it. i can only hear it if i put my ear on the box. if your putting it in a small room it maybe a way too big. i had to put my sub behind my t.v. but overall i am pleased with it. i am going to watch saving private ryan today. i am very pleased with it. i also bought a display version for 468 w/ taxes. btw when i first saw it i thought it was a side table. lol.

I am thinking about offering the guy $630 out the door for the Klipsch speakers. Is that a good price? Do you think there is room to push with the price?
