I am thinking of purchasing the studio 20 v.2, studio cc v.2 and studio adp v.2.

The studio ADP rears are more expensive than the studio 20 fronts. Any opinions as to whether I should go for some cheaper rear (which one ?) and upgrade to the studio 40's ?

Also I was thinking of powering all this with H/K 525.

The system is going to be 75/25 HT/Music.

Thanks,
-Arun

I went 20's and haven't looked back. The ADPs will be a good upgrade when I go 7.1. I had ADPs when I had the monitor line, and then I used minimonitors all the way around. I like the direct firing speakers when they are behind me. I prefer rear speakers than on the side. That made the 20's a no-brainer.

You could go cheaper on the surrounds. It is not as important to match them. You could also go 20s for the surrouds to get a perfect match.

If it were me, I would go ADPs for the diffuse sound. Alas, my wife would not allow the large ADPs on the wall so I have Atoms. They are okay for surrounds.
