I own some Paradigm Monitors V.2. What is the difference in the new Monitors compared to the older Monitors V.2? I was just curious. Thanks for any information.

There's quite a number of differences... the biggest off the top of my head is that any of the monitor line with more than 1 woofer gets a 2.5 way crossover instead of a 2 way. They also get a carbon infused black woofer for bass instead of 2 of the transparent type you have. They also suggest changes in the cabinet but who knows what.

Here was the official line from Paradigm:

The Monitor 7 v.3 features significant design improvements resulting in
superior detail, resolution, spectral balance and increased sensitivity.

The version 3 model has a new third generation high frequency driver coupled
with our advanced Waveguide faceplate design that was developed for the
Studio Series. Upper harmonics and 'air' are reproduced with stunning
clarity and accuracy.

The mid/bass drivers have newly designed motor structures, 'bullet' dustcaps
and larger magnet structures providing more openess and detail along with
greater sensitivity and power handling.

The advanced carbon-infused cones used in the new bass drivers are highly
damped and very rigid for superbly defined/tight bass response.

It would be preferable to use another Monitor Series model (we recommend the
ADP-370) for surrounds to ensure that the sound from the effects speakers
matches exactly with the others to provide the most realistic results.
