Hi,
After months of trying to make up my mind I've narrowed my speakers upgrade down to two choices. I'm thinking either of Paradigm or Athena. Here are my two systems with the prices I've been quoted. Really I'm pretty sure that I'd be happy with either it's just a tough decision to make based on the center channel.

Athena:
L/R ASF-2 $720
Center ASC-1 $205
Rears ASB-2 $229
Total: $1155 Canadian

Paradigm:
L/R Monitor 7s $760
Center CC-370 $360
Rears Atoms $210 or Mini Monitors $??
Total: $1330 + Canadian

I'm not adverse to spending the extra $ on the paradigm setup but I'd like to know it's worth it. I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with either set of fronts and rears it the center that I think will make or break my decision. My listening is probably 98% movies so the center is really important to me. I have the opportunity to audition the Athena center in home with my current setup but if I buy the CC-370 I only have option of exchanging it and the store I'm interested in buying it at mostly carries B&W and Paradigm.

Has any had a chance to compare the ASC-1 and the CC-370?

Any owners of either system care to comment?

Thanks,
Greg

Darn, I was hoping to help out.

Of the speakers you mentioned I would get the AS-f2s, the cc370, and the Atoms.

The Athena Center channel is half the speaker the Paradigm is and that sways it for me.

You could also get the As-f2s for $600, the C-1 for $150, and the B2s for $200

Total=$950

BUT I guess it's a lottle late now:D
