I have Monitor 11s as Mains in my apartment as part of my Home theater setup. They are on spikes (came with em) and standing on a carpeted floor.

I am in an apartment on the 2nd floor so I let the LFE go through them instead of using a sub. The question is this: Is there a better way to isolate the bass so it doesn't vibrate the floor and annoy the neighbors below?

(I can also try elevating the M11s to a window ledge, but that would put the tweeter 2 feet above ear level which will jack up my soundfield, correct?)

OH MAN, I used to have my Monitor 9's in an apartment, good luck trying to control the bass, you might try setting the speakers to small on your receiver, or if you have a night mode on you receiver you can try that also.
