I am still planning my system, and was wondering if there is any reason why a pair of mini monitors instead of CC370's would not work if paired with some Monitor 7's up front. I simply want the mini's because they would be much cheaper than a pair of CC370's, and the room the HT would be in is not very large. So anyway, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work, but if there is, let me know . . .

oh yeah, I am planning on using the 6 channel Outlaw 1050, thus the desire to add a front and rear center.

It should actually work better because MTM's were actually made to stand up virtical not on it's side like the industry decided on. Just make sure it's shielded if it's near the TV.

I'll add that you can special order a pair of sheilded Mini Monitors from your dealer. A MM would make a fine center channel!
