panny 50" plasma (1 Viewer)

I dont know what is wrong, but I Cannot read any subtitles or see the score of sporting events on my panny 50" plasma.

I know some of the surronding image is cut off, but shoudln't this be takin into account?

anyone else have this problem?

Try viewing in a different mode (Full instead of Just or something else).

have done that several times. makes no different.

cannot even see the score during 4:3

what kind of cable box. I know depending on how I hae my setting- ie- 720i crop or what ever can make a difference. I have a 50"panny plasma and normally only have issues when I play with Direct tv's formating.

Time Warner Digital Explorer HD DVR...

that may help. I will play with settings tonight
