I've tweeked my set to near perfection (greyscale, mechanical focus, color decoder etc), but there's one thing that bothers me>
When there's a bright image with darker areas( such as hockey players on bright white ice) , the darker areas are way to dark. In other words the hockey players on the ice, almost look like black figures, instead of seeing detailed figures. Contrast and brightness settings don't seem to affect this phenomenon. Is there a service menu adjustment that might have something to do with this? I remember my Toshiba had a setting called "DC Restoration" or something like that. Any Ideas?
Marc.
