Pani A-120 + Sony Wega--- Your thoughts please (1 Viewer)

Just curious if any of you guys are using this combo...
My old 27 inch Sony Tube died the other day, and I replaced it with the newer Wega 27 Inch...
As far as dvd, I'm using the Pani A-120.... Using component video, I am somewhat displeased with the pic... I know it's only 480i, but is the component video section of the A-120 just inferior??
I used many different dvd's.... It seems to play extremely grainy......Even in 16:9 mode... I'm using Silver Serpent Better Cables.....
Should I ditch the A-120?? For another Interlaced player??

How is the S-Video output? Acceptable?
Given the amount of $ you have in your 2 systems, if you are displeased with your A-120, a DVD RP56 would be a no-brainer at $250 or less when it arrives (?)
BTW, I'd love to hear your comments re: 4800 versus 3801 as a pre/pro.

I have a 120 + 36" Wega and love it. I don't find anything grainy about it. I just need to get my Wega to quit gettting brighter from right to left. Any ideas?
