Does anyone know where to buy this player or the XP50 (DVD-A upgrade)? I cannot locate it in any store or on the Panasonic website.

I guess it has been replaced with new models.

Based on "Secrets" review, does any one know what new model would have equivalent Video performance that I can buy today? Thanks.

Watch eBay. I just picked up a brand-new, factory-sealed unit.
The guy I won it from is at [email protected], he may have a unit or two left.

    Good luck,

    Matt

Cool! Let me know how much it costs to replace the spindle motor on your no-warranty RP-82...

    Seriously, congrats on your pickup.

We should talk to Panasonic master "Sango" who goes on the AVS forums who is well known for the firmware updates and knowledge about repairing and calibrating those units.

    Sango owns 4 RP82s(2 of the units are 30 US each), 2 RP56s, RP91 and a A470EN.
