More Info for you guys about Multi-Function Slots introduced on 2003 Industrial (Commercial) Plasmas.
Here's a pic of the inputs on the back of PWD6UY:
Multi-Function Slots - the new Commercial Displays have three interchangeable slots that let you add different combinations of optional terminal boards. The standard terminal included takes up slot 2 and slot 3 (top pic). Slot 1 comes empty.
You can add a DVI-HDCP Board or another Component on that free slot or even remove the standard terminal and have 3 free slots (Middle pic) to do any configuration of inputs.
However there are limitations on where the optional cards can be placed. Here's the list:
RGB Active Through Terminal Board TY-42TM6G (Insertable in slot 1 & 2)
BNC Component Video Terminal Board TY-42TM6A (Insertable in slot 1, 2, or 3)
RCA Component Video Terminal Board TY-42TM6Z (Insertable in slot 1, 2, or 3)
BNC Composite Video Terminal Board TY-42TM6B (Insertable in slot 1 or 2)
RCA Composite Video Terminal Board TY-42TM6V (Insertable in slot 1 or 2)
RGB (Digital) DVI - HDCP Terminal Board TY-42TM6D (Insertable in slot 1 or 2)
PC Input Terminal Board TY-42TM6P (Insertable in slot 1, 2, or 3)
** 2 DVI inputs can be used , but S-video/Composite won't be possible because both can be placed on slot 1 and slot 2 only.
** The TH-37PWD6UY has only two slots (bottom pic)
No Idea about the 37". It should be $500 less than the 42".
TH-37PX20 .............................$5999 MSRP ??? TH-42PX20 is supposed to be -- $6499 MSRP (Available September) TH-50PX20 is supposed to be -- $9499 MSRP (Available October)
