    I recently purchased the Panasonic SA-HE200 receiver.

    I need help to correctly hookup receiver to Direct TV, DVD, VCR/XBox. I will be using the S-Video cables.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    I just hooked up the TV (Direct TV) to receiver (VCR1) I cannot change Input to Auto, Digital? Please help?

    that is because a vcr is not digital so that option is not available..hook dtv up to tv or dvr

    Daniel,

    My VCR/XBox is connected to VCR2 Input on the receiver and it shows analog on the input. I will try to change the dtv from VCR1 to TV.

    As much as I like the SA-HE200 it's kind of annoying in it's use of digital inputs. Even though there are 5 digital audio inputs (4 optical, 1 coax), you can only use 3 for video. The possible settings are TV, DVD and VCR2 for video that can be associated with digital inputs. In order to use the other 2 inputs you have to use them with either the CD player or CD/RW meaning it won't switch the video. Kind of annoying, but I only have 3 devices with digital outputs right now, I hope I don't add any more.
