I picked up one of the new Panasonic RV32 DVD players at Best Buy recently. It has a few small design changes from the RV31. It is promoted as being able to play Windows Media Player audio that has been recorded on CD-R. I paid $150.00. Here's a link to a recent article:

Could you tell us a bit more about the player?

I am more interested about mp3 playback.

Does it read multisessions? What bitrates? How do you navigate an mp3 cd? Does it support long filenames? Does it display ID3 tags? Does it have a digital aoutput? Thanks!

Unfortunately the above page says nothing about its mp3 abilities. Maybe the owner can give us first hand info!

    The R32 is sporting a 192/24 DAC vs. the R31 96/24.

Sorry, but I'm not going to be any help with MP3 info on the RV32. I haven't tried it!

Well, I don't have the RV32, but if its anything like the other Panasonic model's MP3 capabilities, its going to be very limited.
