    Hey all,

I'm looking to get an entry level player with the best possible picture.

So far, I'm impressed with the Panasonic RV31.

Is the RV32 the replacement or a new budget model?

Which is the better player and why?

Do they have the Chroma Bug or any other issues to be concerned about?

Can these models output a PAL signal?

    Thanks in advance.

I am not to sure about the RV31 but I think the RV32 replaces it. One thing added to the RV32 is that it will now play Window Media files (*.wma). I just recently purchased the RV32 for $150 at Best Buy. I have not used the Window Media feature yet but it seemed to play MP3 ok. Still a dedicated CD player is better for music. Overall I am very happy with this unit. I was in the same boat as you. I wanted an entry level DVD.

I have just bought an RV41 from a store in Sydney but before they have got it in, they tell me that new models are coming, and mine is being replaced with the X10A. Dont know anything about it, and neither does Panasonic Aust yet [IMG]. They say it wont be here till late April
