Panasonic RP91: No Disk (1 Viewer)

I purchased this player via ebay, and while I wait for some answers from the seller, I thought I would ask here and see if there were any suggestions. Player powers up, responds to the remote, and lets me do a setup, but when any DVD is given to it, it spins it and reads No Disk.

Putting in a music CD generates the error message H02.

I wonder if the laser assembly fell out of alignment during shipping. Was it packed well? It could also be dust on the laser pickup lens.

Unit was well packed and there is no visible sign of package abuse.
