'lo Folks...
Was wondering if any of you have any experiences and/or thoughts on the RP-82 region free hack kit being sold at JVB? Here's the link:

Macrovision hacking discussion is a no-no.

Region code hacking discussion is okay.

Be forewarned that if you hack your DVD player, you'll void your warranty, and the Panasonic DVD players won't do PAL-to-NTSC conversion, so you'll be limited to Non-Region 1 NTSC DVDs that will be watchable on the Panasonic DVD players (i.e. Japanese DVDs should be okay since they are NTSC, but UK DVDs would be PAL and not display correctly on NTSC TV sets).
