Panasonic PT-AE100 LCD projector a good substitute for RP HDTV?? (1 Viewer)

Just saw this on the panasonic.ca website and I was wondering what kind of a picture it gives compared to RPTV's? Anyone have experience with this projector?

Nobody using this projector? I guess Panasonic isn't the best projector maker?

If anyone does have this thing, does it scale good? What about line doubling for watching NTSC cable, VHS or Laserdiscs?

I'm not even sure if this PJ is available in the US yet. It has generated a pretty big buzz over at AVSForums, you might try searching there.

Evidently its a pretty good piece.

This unit is not available in the US yet, so that's probably why you haven't received any responses. I've had quite a few inquiries about it though, including from people in the US. Try the LCD/DLP projector forum at AVS.
