Has anyone had any experience with the Panasonic PT-60LC14, good or bad? I am thinking of purchasing this set and am interested in anyone's opinion. I have been to Best Buy and compared it with the other tv's on display, which included Sony's and Mitsubishi's, and was impressed with what I saw, especially considering its price compared to the rest.

I have its little brother from last year, the 50LC13.

This is a dam fine tv. Very sharp on HD, great on DVDs. Bright. Probably the best value in RP-LCDs. Tons of inputs, and I *needed* them! I understand PC connectivity is pretty simple too.

Only problems I have noted are some slight vertical banding on some content (pretty common among LCDs), and of course, as with most RP-LCDs, the blacks are not deep true black.

I use it with XBOX, PS2, HD satellite and OTA, LD, VHS, and DVD. I couldn't be happier.

That is one of the things that I noticed and liked the most, the price. It seems to be the best value, from what I have seen, on the market. When you consider the price, picture, inputs, etc, I can't wait until this baby is in my house. I am glad to hear that it performs so well in a real environment. Ads for the inputs, I am sure I can put them to good use. ;)

I've always stopped by to look at the set in stores since I got mine (not made any special trips, just swung by the tv dept. when I was in a store) and I have always found the picture on mine to be noticeably better. I'm not sure whether it's my awesome calibration abilities :), better source material (Dish network HD), using DVI vs. stores using component, or what. But the home set always looks better to me. It's hard NOT to like this set a whole lot.

Good luck whatever you decide to get!!
